Rider Interview
Alexandra
“Cyprus Highlights - International Female Ride Day 20th Anniversary Series”
⚠️ FULL INTERVIEW COMING SOON — The full conversation will be posted at MotoQueensglobal.com. Thank you for your patience. ⚠️
Meet Alexandra.
She didn't just show up to IFRD in Cyprus.
She built it.
Cyprus is Europe's third largest Mediterranean island. 340 days of sunshine. Coastal roads that hug the sea from Limassol to Paphos. The Troodos Mountains rising to over 1,900 metres in the centre of the island — pine forests, switchbacks, and villages that smell like cedar and coffee.
Near-perfect riding weather. Year-round.
And for nearly a decade, Alexandra has made sure women riders here have a day to call their own.
She organised the first IFRD ride in Cyprus in 2010. It has run every single year since.
Her club — @cypruswomenmotorbikers — started that same year. Over 12 years of community before becoming officially registered in 2021. Based in Limassol. Weekly rides. Monthly events. 50+ bikes for island-wide takeovers.
She built the infrastructure. She built the community. She kept showing up.
Alexandra, you are historic.
This is the 20 for 20 series. 20 women. 20 countries. 20 years of IFRD. Our tribute to @motoress and to every woman who got on a bike and just rode.
To our founder Vicki Gray — this series is for you.
