I was honoured to meet her great-granddaughter, Dorothy Owens, at the Breast Cancer Pledge Ride, the same weekend as the Sadie Grimm Legacy Ride.
Dorothy shared about her great-grandfather met her great-grandmother🫶🏽
Sadie became a legend in Manitoba riding history, and her memory lives on at the picnic site the Coalition of Manitoba Motorcycle Riders Group, helped erect in her name at Winnipeg Beach.
Manitoba tornadoes have come through that area more than once, and the memorial is still standing strong. Just like she was. 💪🏽
Some love stories last a hundred years. This one is worth hearing.
